In 1967 they sell their pieces in the local market for the first time, in 1968 and 1969 they participate in several exhibitions in Brasil (it was a great success) and in 1970 they export their products to France, then comes U.S.A, Canada and some other countries in the following years. Between 1974 and 1979 numerous models were created, and most of them were sold in the market.

Carbajales
brothers with Herben Dematte.
Since the very beginning, Suso
and Javier have been training artists that work with them in the carving and
decoration of the little animals.
In 1980 they chose one of these artists, who had been working in Rinconada since
1976, to collaborate in the design of new products for Artesania Rinconada. His
name was Herben Dematte and the work he developed was certainly magnificent.
Unfortunately, he died in 1996.
By the year 1989, they had already created and designed more than 400 models of animals of the three different lines. The enterprise was honoured with various prizes locally and internationally, both for its designs and big sales.
.
So as to give continuity to their work, Carbajales brothers have been teaching their sons since the very beginning. Since 1978, Heber (1952) has been part of the Administrative staff of the company. In 1993, José Arcadio (1974), became an active member of the workshop and finally in 1998 Javier Aureliano (1976) and Alfonso Antonio (1978) also started working in the workshop. They have been learning, getting experience and currently they are working in practically all the areas: designing, modelling and painting.
This second generation plans Artesania Rinconada’s future with the same creative and permanently optimistic attitude as their parents, keeping their artistic and humanistic legacy alive.
In 2001 a new trademark JJCarbajales whose logo is "JJC" was created to be applied to special lines currently being developed.
